Hello
Welcome to the forum !
You may have noticed that posting is disabled
The reason, is that when I set this place up, my intention was to use it like a repository for my notes, instead of a forum, and to be able to start to present the discoveries I've made over the years
It doesn't cost me any money to have this site, and I don't ask for membership fees like the other websites
My experience with any sort of chats and forums touching on topics dealing with religion over the years online has been less than pleasant, and currently I don't feel like giving a voice to the people I've encountered online would serve any purpose, so that's why posting isn't allowed
I may open up a sub-forum in the future if the need presents itself, but my daily visits to other major forums bear out that it's just the same types of posters repeating the same things over and over, and my intention is for this website to stand apart from the other sites, with both the scope and breadth of the topics and threads, but also the absence of the usual suspects
I don't want nutjob posters here spamming walls of multi-colored Bible text in different sizes, or contrarians, dilettantes and ultracrepidarians bickering in circles with meaningless arguments, or the hassle of having to ban IP addresses, etc
In short, I don't want a stale repeat of what happens on other open forums and chats, and if you've ended up here, you may already have made the rounds of all the big forums and chats, and you already know what you aren't looking for
If it seems like I'm just randomly posting things, that's due to the fact I have about 40+ extensive articles covering a variety of inter-related topics that are slowly being condensed from years of study, so what you read on this website is being edited daily, in real time
It's my mess and I know where everything is
As for FAQ's, there aren't any, so that takes care of that mess, hopefully the explanation of why posting is disabled is sufficient
What is the purpose of this website ?................In other words, do I have an end goal ?
My intention is to share a few discoveries I've made, while studying the Bible and it's foundations
It's not a site to spew stale rhetoric and dogmas, but rather a place to expose the Bible's roots, and an examination of the texts, traditions and people that likely influenced it
If I could sum it up, succinctly ( Difficult ), I would say that my articles ultimately stem from purely mathematical discoveries made in Egypt and Mesopotamia
The mathematical knowledge, in turn, was used / known / held, by priests, priest-kings and pharaohs, and heavily influenced the formation of the systems of metrology ( Measurement ) in the antiquities
At the time, language, alphabets, mathematics, building, measurement, astronomy, etc...was all linked through one complex system, and it's this system/s that allowed them to build temples and buildings that aligned with astronomical phenomenon like solstices, new moons, eclipses, etc, but also allowed them to do things like " encode " the mathematical values of their names into those buildings at the same time ( For example the Assyrian capital Dur-Sharrukin present day Khorsabad and Sargon II's message : ” I built the circumference of the city wall, 16,283 cubits, the number of my name ” )
This was all done during the era prior to the advent of the " Hindu-Arabic " numerals 0-9, in the age of polysemic scripts, and was standard for the era
Some of what you see in my articles you'll recognize from other websites and authors, I always try to mention they are cited sources and not my own
Ultimately, I will show you what I believe to be the original discovery in mathematics that influenced their beliefs, circa 5,000 BC (Or possibly quite earlier). It was " encoded " into the Bible, for lack of better terms, but " why " isn't something I'm really concerned with, just " how "
It's a real doozy, too, so I hope you enjoy
